Not a bad idea, but I don't see it happening just yet.

All these states should come together to demand for more share. After all, Northern states are also very active in the solid minerals sector even though the money goes to private hands. 13℅ is way too low

Is he the first state governor to do that under this Buhari reign of terror and tremor?

Besides, I expect the next governor to come from APC so I think we're safe I wouldn't be so sure. Remember Fayose? All it takes is some power-hungry charlatan to show up and start making ridiculous promises to get the public sector unions on-side, and before you know it ... If at least 45% of supposedly "educated" Americans can still be supporting a lying buffoon like Donald Trump, who says worse can happen back home in Naija?

Hmmnn you have a point but it will be very difficult since there is no Adedibu. That was why Ajimobi was able to win 2nd term defeating both Akala/Ladoja in the last elections No governor has ever done it in Oyo state I read somewhere that Ladoja is planning to float a party. Ogbeni Ogunnaike I'm not sure he's the first person

...good moves from the governor. He should have done this a long time ago. I just hope the 50% slash in salaries of public officials won't dampen their zeal and morale. I think 50% is quite much. The state's education system obviously needs a complete overhaul. The recent crisis in the state's secondary school system and the jointly-owned LAUTECH easily comes to mind. Oyo state has a special place in my heart. I was born there.

This is really nice. More innovation hubs = more startups = more problems being solved
Makes it 4 innovation hubs in Ibadan now including Ibridge,Wennovation, and Alftech
The only issue here is that they aren't attempting to create a cluster like the Yaba guys are doing. Different people working in different places
