MultiChoice Nigeria is bringing its DStv and GOtv subscribers yet another historic event in the month of February.

From Monday, 1 February to Tuesday, 2 February 2016, President Muhammadu Buhari will be in Ogun State in commemoration of the State’s 40th anniversary. This event will be aired live on DStv Events channel 199 and GOtv Events channel 29.

The channels will open from midnight 1 February, and will be available to DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access subscribers and GOtv Value and Plus and subscribers.

Subscribers can tune in to watch history unfold from the President’s arrival on 1 February to lead the commissioning of 40 legacy projects across three senatorial districts in the state his departure on 2 February.

The Awujale of Ijebu land, Oba Sikiru Adetona, will, today, host President Muhammadu Buhari, to a private lunch at his palace in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

The president will be visiting the Gateway State to take part in activities commemorating the 40th anniversary of Ogun.

The luncheon will also be the first time President Buhari will be hosted to such by any traditional ruler since he assumed office in May last year.

The lunch, which is scheduled to take place inside the Banquet Hall of the Awujale Palace by 2PM, is to be attended by royal fathers in Ijebu land, Otunba, members of the Council of Chiefs and select personalities.
