Jalil Anibaba Jalil Anibaba (/dʒəˈliːl ɑːniˈbɑːbə/; born October 19, 1988) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Houston Dynamo in Major League Soccer. College and AmateurAnibaba attended Davis Senior High School, where in his senior season he was the California Gatorade Soccer Player of the year, and played college soccer at Santa Clara University for the first three years of his college career. In 2009, Anibaba captained the Broncos was selected for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-West Region team. For his senior season he transferred to the University of North Carolina, where he won numerous awards, including – NSCAA Second Team All-America, NSCAA First Team All-Region, First Team All-ACC, ACC All-Tournament Team and 2007 WCC Freshman of the Year. Anibaba made twelve appearances for USL Premier Development League club Carolina Dynamo during their 2010 season.
ProfessionalOn January 14, 2011, Anibaba was drafted #9 overall in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft by the Chicago Fire. He made his professional debut on March 19, 2011, in Chicago's first game of the 2011 MLS season, a 1–1 tie with FC Dallas., and scored his first professional goal – a 40-yard screamer – on March 30, 2011 in a 2–1 victory over the Colorado Rapids in the qualifying round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Anibaba would go on to tally two more goals in the 2011 season finale, heading home two strikes in the space of 19 minutes in a 3–2 win vs. Columbus Crew on October 22, 2011. Anibaba closed out his first season in MLS setting a club record for regular season appearances by a rookie with 29 and had his March 30 strike vs. Colorado voted the team's "Goal of the Year" by the team's fans following the campaign. After three seasons with Chicago, Anibaba was traded in January 2014 with the #8 pick in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft and a conditional third-round selection in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft to Seattle Sounders FC in exchange for the #13 pick in the 2014 SuperDraft, defender Jhon Kennedy Hurtado, and defender Patrick Ianni. On December 10, 2014, Anibaba was selected by Orlando City SC with the fifth pick in the 2014 MLS Expansion Draft. After the draft, Anibaba was shipped to Sporting Kansas City as part of the trade for Aurelien Collin. Anibaba was dropped by Sporting Kansas City on November 25, 2015. Anibaba was released by Kansas City at the end of the 2015 MLS season, but later signed with Houston Dynamo on January 11, 2016.
Personal lifeHis brothers Sule and Jammil played college soccer during the 2000s for the UC Davis Aggies, while half brother Josh Reese plays American football for UC Davis Aggies.

Ruth Lawanson Ruth Modupe Lawanson (born September 27, 1963) was the head coach of the University of Nevada volleyball team. Born in Nigeria, she played volleyball for Fresno State and the United States national team, winning a bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics. CollegeLawanson played for the Fresno State volleyball team and was named MVP of the team in 1982, 1983, and 1984. In 1984, her senior season, she led the Bulldogs to a fifth-place finish at the NCAA tournament, was named NorPac co-Player of the Year, and was an All-American. Muhammed Lawal Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal (born January 11, 1981) is an American mixed martial artist. He is signed with Bellator and Rizin FF (through partnership with Bellator) as an MMA fighter, Lawal is the former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion and the Rizin Heavyweight Grand Prix Champion, and has also competed for World Victory Road and M-1 Global. He is also known for his time in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as a professional wrestler. Lawal was raised along with his siblings by a single Muslim mother. Growing up Lawal was a fan of professional wrestling and began competing in wrestling at Plano East Senior High School in Plano, Texas. As a junior Lawal won a state title in the Greco-Roman category and also finished as a state runner-up. During his senior season Lawal went undefeated and became a state champion. Lawal also competed in football, earning All-District honors as a linebacker during his junior season and as a wide receiver in his senior season. Lawal also lettered in track and field. Lawal went on to compete in NCAA Division II wrestling at the University of Central Oklahoma. He finished in 2nd place in the nation in 2001 and was a national champion in 2002. For his senior year Lawal moved on to Division I at Oklahoma State University. Lawal became a Big 12 Conference Champion and Division I All-American in 2003 for Oklahoma State, where he finished in third place for the 197 pound division. Lawal was also the university freestyle national champion at 185 pounds this year. After college Lawal continued his wrestling career at the senior level, and also competed in the newly formed Real Pro Wrestling league and became the champion of the 184 pound weight class in 2004. He won the Senior U.S. national championship in freestyle wrestling three times - in 2005, 2006 and 2008. He also represented the U.S. at the 2005 World Wrestling Championships, where he finished in 7th place. He controversially lost his match to Sazhid Sazhidov of Russia when he was penalized a point for passivity with 1 second remaining in a match he was winning, giving Sazhidov the win. Revaz Mindorashvili would be the gold medalist at these games, a wrestler Lawal has defeated. For over three years, Lawal was the number one ranked wrestler in the United States in the 84 kilogram division. After narrowly missing entrance to the 2008 Olympics, for which he was favored a spot, Lawal decided to enter the world of mixed martial arts. Lawal's parents are immigrants from Nigeria. Lawal was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He has a younger brother named Abdullah and a younger sister named Aminat. The three were raised by a single mother, "My mom [Nike Rouseau] pretty much raised us all. My dad was never around." Muhammed's father committed suicide when Lawal was twenty years old. After his fight with Larkin, Lawal was diagnosed with Staphylococcus obtained from knee surgery. Lawal had a fever of 103 degrees, and the infection ate away at parts of his hip and legs, "I had this moment where I was like, man, I can see my hip bone. I was ripped still. I had an eight-pack. But there's my hip bone. I looked at my leg, and it looked like those zombies from The Walking Dead. I feel like I looked death in the face, and I survived.

Funmi Jimoh Oluwafunmilayo Kemi Jimoh, commonly known as Funmi Jimoh, (born May 29, 1984 in Seattle, Washington) is an American long jumper, who competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Jimoh competed for Rice University. At Rice, Jimoh competed in both the long jump and sprinting events, such as the 100 meter hurdles.[1] She jumped 22 feet ¾ inch (6.72 meters) in July 2008 in Eugene, Oregon to place third at the U.S. Olympic Trials to qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. At the Olympics, Jimoh jumped 6.61 meters in the qualifying round of the women's long jump. That distance tied for ninth in qualifying and earned Jimoh a place in the final. Jimoh placed twelfth in the final, with a jump of 6.29 meters. During 2009 World Championships in Berlin Jimoh placed 21st in qualifying with a jump of 6.34 meters and failed to make the final. During 2011 World Championships Jimoh placed 12th and 13th 2013 World Championships. Her personal best is 6.96 meters which she achieved in Doha on 8 May 2009.

Personal lifeFagbenle was born on 8 September 1992, to a Nigerian family in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, and has eleven siblings. Her family moved to London, United Kingdom when she was aged 2 and she began playing basketball at the Haringey Angels club. When she was fifteen she returned to the United States to study at Blair Academy in New Jersey. She attends Harvard University. As of 2012 she is 1.93 metres (6 ft 4 in) tall and weighs 79.5 kilograms (175 lb). Basketball careerDuring her time at Blair Academy Fagbenle was voted on to the McDonald’s All American High School team.
