Doubted everywhere in life
Judged by everyone
A life full of strife
Gift and the curse, still had some fun
Written off completely
Fostered the chip on the shoulder
Ghost of Sparta, operating discretely
Dream of the forgotten, can't slumber
For a moment, vices sabotaged the drive
Kingdom of Atlantis, lost focus
Made sacrifices, kept the strive alive
Growing again beautifully in splendour like Indian crocus
Dead awaken, back in line
Surpassed all expectations, made them look like cods
Time to shine;
Against all odds

I'm just doing it for fun and to see if I can develop a skill by posting my thoughts in a public space for critique. And it's also just a way for me to have something to talk about on here, if there's no interesting topic to discuss. All I need is music. There are certain tunes that I listen to that take my state of mind to a place where vices will never be able to take me to. Music is spiritual and some of the tunes I post from time to time in the entertainment section represent certain stages of my journey in life. So any time I need inspiration, I just listen to those tunes and they're like the time machine that turns back the hands of time. Thus taking me to a realm where my thoughts can be a tad deeper than normal. |
