And lately, I've been seeing this whole Yoruba Muslim-Yoruba Christian thing all over the place Any red flags, folks ? It's an obvious effort at "divide and conquer" trolling from the same idiots who brought us the "amala and ewedu" nonsense, as well as such hits as "Afonja! Afonja! Afonja!", "brown roof republic" and "skull mining" cut-and-paste. To be honest, I'm surprised so many Yoruba people are taking the bait; is the PDP's Obanikoro a Christian? Is Dasuki? Is Osinbajo a Muslim? If Buhari's SW victory in 2015 was because of Muslim votes, how did GEJ win in the same region in 2011? Was there some sort of mass Islamic conversion in the region in those years or something? It's obviously all nonsense.

I see red flags bro. truth be told, I noticed the dearth of muslim participants at the summit at Ibadan. Why is that? I see red flags as well. Our enemies are vigorously pushing a very divisive narrative that may spell doom for us as a people if care isn't taken. And they are amplifying their rhetoric with the aid of the social media. For Tanko yakassai to try to exploit it, perhaps he has gotten some feedback from some disgruntled elements of Yoruba extraction that pointed it out. That was how he latched on the Adebayo guy's article about igbos owning most industries in the SW and amplified/ran with it. It's a very unfortunate and mischievous development I must confess. The worst part for me is that I think non-Yorubas are largely responsible for pushing this divisive rhetoric to widen some perceived fault lines. Once upon a time not that long ago, both the governor and deputy of Osun (under Oyinlola's tenure) were both christians and nobody raised an eye-brow. I wonder if that would be allowed to happen again with the way things are going. During the UPN days, all the SW governors with the exception of Lateef jakande were all Christians (Bola Ige of Oyo, Olabisi Onabanjo of Ogun, Adekunle Ajasin of Ondo/Ekiti). Even in Oyo back then, Ige's successor was also another Christian Ibadan indigene in the person of Omololu Olunloyo. These days it's not uncommon to hear ipob touts shouting 'Yoruba muslims' all over the internet, and pushing a jaundiced and ignorant narrative about how most current SW governors are muslims and are marginalizing the Christians in the region, when in fact all the SW states have an equal distribution of governors from both Christianity and Islam (Aregbe, Amosun and Ajimobi are muslims, while Ambode, Fayose, and Aketi are Christians). It's a really worrying development that may prove disastrous for us if care is not taken. The funniest thing about this is how they are crying more than the bereaved! Who has heard any thinking Yoruba person complaining about Amosun or Ambode on religious grounds, or praising Fayose because of any supposed shared "Christianity"? What annoys me is how we give even token credibility to this rubbish by acknowledging it as anything more than IPOB morons endlessly regurgitating the same tired slogans they substitute for thinking.

Those iPob fools are very sick, I tell you. In their mind, they hope to divide Yorubas across religious lines (by creating the impression that 'Yoruba Muslims' are responsible for the problems in Yorubaland, politically and otherwise) so that one day they may be able to appeal to the religious sentiments of 'Yoruba Christians' and 'team-up' with them in a future 'war of liberation' from oppressive 'Yoruba Muslims'. Their madness no get part 2. Very sick people. The whole lot of them.
