The hate between Ebows and Yoruba is mutual.
What should concern us is development of Yorubaland. We may refute their useless claims once in a while.
"Yorubas are" links all lead to nairaland. They simply flooded goggle server with Yorubas are. Awon Wereys.
I don't think we need to tow that lane. Priority should be development of Yorubaland. Agriculture and IT lo je mi logun for now.

If we can turn our politics of hatred and tribalism into finding solutions for only Yorubas, then I think it will work. i.e investing in Yoruba education so that we can dominate the education sector. Or Investing in only Yoruba businesses so that we can dominate in that area too. We don't have to sit idle while we're supporting the Yoruba interest. I'm sure once we start thinking of solutions, somewhere along the way, afonjas will wanna include other Nigerians. @ the bold. Ehen now we're talking! Our own progress is what matters and how we can get Yorubas thinking about Yoruba progress.Look at this forum, we have just 81 members. It's not like they aren't aware ooo, they just don't care. Some of our people are just pathetic
Abi na we too dey form defender. We go dey claim Nesta .Look at our Ekiti uncle for example, you'd think he's the only person God gave mouth in that PDP even tho there are other PDP governors
I invited two personal bros of mine to this forum. They haven't joined as of yet. I'm waiting for them to give me the usual phone call that leads to discussing our issues...I have some nasty things to tell those fellas.

Efusetan,
I remember one hausa man's comment on facebook. He said, the only reason he hates the Yorubas is because, we will rather fight ourselves and defend an outsider. I think you should listen to the comments especially that of Aare. They are right. Personally, I like the attacks on Yoruba people. Whether you like it or not, the Ibos are doing a good job uniting us more than any ideologies out there.
In fact, I have said it before that I thank the Ibos for making me a Yoruba, than the so called Yorubas. Like I said, on facebook, I know those back in 2013, insulting their own people for Ibos, who have now become Ibos number one enemy. We have those at the war front shoving whatever Ibo propaganda against Yorubas, back to them. But the bulk of this war is in the Real life. Real life, you hardly see me smile with Ibos. I was not brought up to look down on people, and I still don't but whenever I'm around certain people, especially Ibos, I stand like a mountain.
Even when we are in Oyinbo environment, I do my best to shut down whatever negative shit they have spilled around about Yorubas. I introduce myself as a Yoruba from West Nigeria. I poke fun at Nigerians plus I don't join pan Nigerian society, and you will never catch me dead with the pan Africans too. So if you have a Nigeria drupal group, count me out. I prefer oyinbo/asian groups. I emphasis on Yoruba only groups and codes, and whenever I meet those Yorubastards, I look at them like they are shit and thanks to Olodumare, I'm always in the position to give them the shit look. Aare is also right about Yorubas who do not employ Ibos at all, and there are a lot of us o. The real war is OUT THERE. Ibos dating oyinbos and turning them against Yorubas. Ibos using the usual victim complex to ally oyinbos on their side. It usually don't work, but thankfully with the growing number of Pro-Yorubas, we get to shut them down easily.
Let us use the hatred as a fuel to better ourselves. This whole Yoruba men are demons can be turned into proper use, when our real life success rate shoots higher. That way, even Ibos will start calling themselves demons. The best revenge is the strength of Yoruba economy and paper(money). Ejo! I don't have time shooting blanks at people I expect nothing from in real life.

From a few posts on this thread, I sensed the Yoruba sophistication.
I would say, while we give preference to Yoruba things such as rebuilding education, agriculture and whatever. We should tow the line of tribal/hatred politis by frustrating the continued settlement of Non-Yorubas and to further discourage the massive migration into SWest.
Following Ahmadu Bello's approach, we should sack non Yoruba and employ Yoruba in states' civil service, admission into state owned institutions, ensure whatever markets are lorded by Yoruba and non-Yoruba are made to pay more taxes.
Else, if we make agriculture, education or anything better as said on this thread, we'll only be giving the whole Nigeria a reason(s) to move west which in turn makes our scarce resources further scarce for the average Yoruba to enjoy and stretch out the states administrations which have to adjust to population growth - while the home-state admins of these migrants have lesser population with less work and more resources to 'chop'.
Tribalism has to serve as the wind in the sail of our politics from this moment. We need to make our fellow Yoruba a priority

I get your point, though I disagree with some. Lol let's agree to disagree. Aare is telling you the truth, the Yeeboes get shafted on the regular, only difference is that Yorubas don't fight them much online... Also, we can't leave Leprosy & be running helter skelter for ringworm medicine!!! Development & reawakening of the yoruba identity is more important here & now than all out open season war with other people whose main source of joy is raining on one's parade.. Yorubas are natural "diplomats" so they are not prone to spewing irrational invectives but the yeeboes get it with extras in REAL LIFE.. Personally, I'm more concerned with correcting misconceptions, demolishing faulty arguments /positions & refuting outright lies than exchanging words which is what most of these olori pelebes love.. Full Disclosure; I have few Ibo Friends that are sane, maybe it's cos they were raised in the SW & their parents have immersed themselves in the culture.... I know about the DEEP SEATED EMOTION thing we keep talking about when we discuss them but humans aren't perfect, we have our own shortcomings as well.... Majority are still persona non grata to me cos of their major "extraness" !!! We're natural diplomats with shameful education system. Oh the irony. The Yoruba case is one of a boogie hoodrat that wants to act classy.
