While the Yorubas and Edos are discussing their beautiful histories and exchanging some 'friendly historical fire" about the relationship between the two neighbouring ethnic groups, Igbos are busy either rewriting their history to fit into Jewish / Israeli scripture or poke nosing into an issue that is entirely out of their league of social complexity. To begin, there is no such place in the entire length and breadth of Igboland called 'Obu Gad', The original name is Obu Uga. You will see Uga across Anambra State. Just Google 'Uga and Anambra'. The people of this particular area , who obviously don't value themselves or their history, changed the name a few years back to garner recognition to their community from Israel. Quite Sad. But the israelis are not stupid people. There is also nothing like 'Igbo central palace'. What this is is a show of intra-tribal superiority battle. I call it 'statism', where some misguided fellows from a particular area in Anambra State would love to think their area is the head of the Igbo race or the origin of the Igbo race. They use the Jew lie to try to attach supremacy or a trail of migration from Israel to themselves then downward to other Igbos. It's like a pyramid, with their community located at the Apex. Quite laughable indeed. Also it is impossible to have any central palace in an Igbo ecological Niche, because societies are not structured to revolve around any central location. Long bush trails lead from one homestead to another, and there wasn't any form of centralization. I found this on a Biafra page, one of those low esteem Israel/Biafra, 'Donald trump will save us when he is elected" , and "Putin has sent a last warning to Buhari to free the Biafrans" kind of agitation pages springing up left and right today. Many of these people deal with inferiority complex and hate to be Igbos. Instead of learning their history (If their is any of repute) they choose to be lazy and take the easy way out. Quite sad, but also laughable. Behold the descendants of Jews from Judea !!
Kudos to the Binis and Yorubas. While the Jews and Arabs have the world memorizing and teaching their histories and myths through carefully crafted stories in the Torah, Bible, and Koran, the Yorubas and Binis are doing the same with Nigerians. Look how many non-Yoruba/Bini Nigerians know the stories of these two nations and are even helping them preserve it through debates. Impressive. And during the course of debate you will not hear one mention about Moses parting the sea so that someone can carry his Kola nut and yam to rest in Umu-unugegbummmaduwithlie village in Igboland, or how one Eri migrated from Judea through the Afar tribe of Ethiopia to come settle down in IbekuAfara village in some unknown corner of Abia state where they intermarried with pygmy forest dwellers with no semblance of civility- Or any figment of imagination like that. All these Igbo elements do on social boards is poke fun at the Yoruba account of creation, calling it a myth and questioning how a sane person could believe such an account in the 21st century, while at the same time swallowing the Judeo-Christian account of creation hook line and sinker..... God created the World in 6 days and decided to "Rest" on the 7th, yeeeah right. I would rather be an African believing the Yoruba account of the world starting out from Black people in an African location than being brainwashed into thinking the first two humans were white Adam and Eve created by some Jewish Yahweh somewhere in the Middle East.... Think what you might, but the Yoruba and Edo traditional belief system is Quite impressive and commendable . The Igbo obsession with finding imaginary links to Israel is indeed nothing more than a manifestation of a deep-seated inferiority complex. I cringe whenever I hear any Africans make claims to Jewish or Arabic ancestry, as if the achievements of their own forefathers were insufficient without a stamp of approval conferred from Middle Eastern connections.

But they don't have any rich cultural heritage, I know barely nothing about them,Of the 3 major tribes, yoruba have stories to tell for days, you'd hear stories about ancient zazzau, usman dan fodiyo, et al for the Hausa as well, theirs is just crickets!!! They gat nohin. if I were them, I'd do the same too....

We are too big to be competing with some who lack real history.
