Lmao! But that was a masterpiece from ajanaku the great - I thoroughly enjoyed the poem. Once you look beyond what you might term"offensive", you'll get a clearer picture of what he was painting. The picture he painted makes Mona Lisa look like fake art. I'm going to be conventional/respectful with mine. Thanks, bro! No mind Her Highness ... Na joke na.

Her Highness I'm about to pen something for black women. I need inspiration. Let it come from your heart. What do you see when you look at a black woman. What do you want or desire from a black woman? What do you want to be to a black woman? Think of our history, heritage, weakness, strength, struggle, success, journey, etc. Think of our diversity. Our struggle for collectivism in a society of individualism (or vice versa). And use that fashion trend as inspiration.

Interesting scope - but that's a lot to cover and it might lead to unnecessary verbiage since I'm still an amateur. I'm riding with the physical qualities at the moment, but I might chip in two or three from what you suggested. Thanks, anyway.

Black Woman
The mother of humanity Through you, all races of people were birthed Spent nine months in your womb Sucked the fresh milk from your boobs You watched them crawl, walk, and run Watched them grow into their own To occupy the four corners of the globe
Black woman - my nan, my aunt, my mother My friend, my niece, my cousin, my sister My future wife and unborn daughter The wonderfully crafted and ageless smooth skin That doesn't crack and forever stays sanguine The skin that comes in different shades Light-skinned, dark-skinned, caramel Chocolate and brown-skinned Glowing in fluorescence With the melanin acting as a catalyst
Black woman, the amazingly round batty Full hips that exude your feminine side Thick thighs that drive the wheels of steel Make them turn gorgeously like the turntables Jiggling, and twerking; an amazing sight to behold Luscious lips, the purveyor of the kiss of fire Full and strong nappy Hair; The protector of the head from the sun Big sparkling eyes like diamond
Black woman, they say you can be opinionated and rebellious Labelled you angry and discourteous But I see strength and will power You're a strong, bold, and beautiful Hermetic as clay, and indestructible Tall and thick as a baobab The essence of the survival of black man And driving force behind his achievements against all odds

Love the poem. Thank you Shymmex.
I esp love the last verse and the last two lines.
But we don't have nappy hair. We have beautiful rebellious hair, as rebellious as ourselves.
