The Gas fields in Lagos and ondo states are definitely enough to power South West industrialization for now. Come to think of it, more than 90% of Nigerian gas is flared / wasted, yet we complain of gas shortages to power electric plants?..... The bulk of petroleum products consumed in Nigeria is re-imported from abroad. With efficient utilization of Gas fields in Ondo state, We are more than sufficient to provide our own energy needs. Why in the world would the FG build power plants in Ondo state to depend on gas from Escravos or Forcados? smh

Interesting stuff! I see Lagos getting off the national grid in the coming years but then again, like we said on the other thread, there are so many FG policies limiting us from solving our power issues.
Nigeria needs to "reset to default settings"
There are so many things wrong.

lol.... you sef. The red blobs are oil fields such as Mejo, Meren, Mefa, Ororo etc. The Yellow are gas fields. Anything west of the white maritime border belongs to Ondo.
