Maaan this is probably the toughest governorship tussle I've seen in a very long time Everyone is a top contender Aare e be like say Ondo governorship elections don turn to comedy o. Na one day one wahala. When all this katakata go stop again? I just believe that the target is to get PDP out of Ondo State as soon as possible by any means possible. Jimoh Ibrahim don dey lay claim to PDP governorship candidate, Eyitayo say e no go gree. And on top of that, Mimiko's silence nowadays is sickening. Na dem sabi oooh. The party that manages it's crisis well might just clinch it. APC get their own. Even in AD, the youths are saying olowookere is their choice

That Akure central is Mimiko's stronghold. It will be very difficult for APC/AD to win there
I think all the big candidates stand a chance in this election. It's going to be very tough though
Akeredolu won the NOI polls with 24℅ closely followed by Oke with 23℅
Anyway, I wish all the candidates (who coincidentally are all lawyers) the best of luck.
I'm ready to familiarize myself with anyone who wins. Can't be stressed

He lost both Akure North and South to APC last year during the Presidential election. Infact, he could only deliver Ondo East and West in Ondo Central to GEJ, while PDP cleared the entire 6 LGs in the Southern senatorial district with APC clearing the entire Ondo North. That was why he chose Jegede coz that was the only way Akure indigenes could dance to his tune and show any loyalty to him. Remove Jegede from the equation and he's left with just Ondo East and West as strongholds. Even Idanre sef no sure for am.

Akure South you mean? Aure south is nobody's stronghold joor.... Isn't the capital supposed to have a very mixed population? Akure South will forget party differences and vote enmasse for Jegede because that is the best shot they have for producing a governor. No Akure indigene has ever governed the state. Their last shot was D-gov under Agagu. It was because of them that Mimiko wanted to break the tradition by ensuring Central spends 16 years if perchance PDP wins.
